Latest Brabus Mercedes E-Class 800 E

Tuning company Brabus never ceases to amaze us. This time they have released a brand new package for the Mercedes E-Class called the 800 E V12 Cabriolet. Completely redesigning the exterior, the Mercedes received a new carbon fiber body kit, fresh alloy wheels, and a sport suspension kit to tie it all together. The black 19-inch alloys wrapped in high performance tires gives it a murdered out feel, while the performance numbers are even more stunning. We’re going to hold out on the performance specs for right now, and move to the interior where you will find carbon fiber trim, a new sport steering wheel, and speedometer capable of reaching 400 km/h

The powerful engine that Brabus used in this Mercedes E-Class comes from the 3-valve V12 found in the Mercedes S 600. With several modifications to optimize the cylinder heads, camshafts, and crankshaft, the bore of the cylinders has increased from 5.5 to 6.3-liters. Now you know what happens when you increase the combustion capacity along with extra boost from new turbochargers. Insane horsepower! Brabus was able to squeeze 788 bhp and 1,100 Nm of torque which is electronically limited out of the Mercedes 800 E Cabriolet.

One of the biggest factors of this tuning project was the reprogramming of the ECU and reinforced 5-speed automatic gearbox to handle all the power. It can now handle all this extra boost, while power is sent to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. It has a locking rate of 40% and the track numbers prove that this Mercedes is capable of just about anything. The 800 E Mercedes can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 9.9 seconds, 300 km/h in 23.9 seconds, and record a final top speed of 370 km/h! This number officially makes it the fastest four seat convertible in the world, and the price for all this great Brabus tuning comes in at 478,000 EUR or 681,200 USD.
