Amazing Elegant Killers

In nature, there are over 600 species of plant-killers. They lure their prey into traps, traps, trapping pits intoxicating smells and other tricks. Feeling the smell of food, the insect is sent to the pitcher insectivorous plants. These predators, like all other plants that use photosynthesis to produce nutrients. However, this is too small for a full life, as most of them live on poor soil micronutrients. To survive in such difficult conditions, plants use nitrogen-killer, which is derived from their victims.

1. Boatman

Engineers and evolutionary biologists in Scotland and France recorded the boatman—which is roughly the size of a grain of rice—”singing” in a tank. The aquatic insect’s songs peaked at 105 decibels, roughly equivalent to the volume of a pounding jackhammer within arm’s reach. The chirps are loud enough that humans can hear the sounds while standing at the edge of a boatman’s pond. Fortunately for nature lovers, though, nearly all the sound is lost when the noises cross from water to air.

One Eyed Shark Smiling

Such a strange albino cub found in the belly of his dead mother - a bull shark in Mexico. Unfortunately baby had survived.  It really isn’t all that surprising with all the pollution in our world that species are changing in odd and weird ways. This one eyed baby is supposed to be a bullshark, but this baby fetus is an albino with one eye and a cute smile.  Even in death the little guy is smiling wide at the cameras.

In all the time that humankind has been scientifically categorizing life, we've managed to get slightly fewer than 2 million species catalogued. About 46 new species were discovered every day in 2006, according to researchers at Arizona State University's International Institute for Species Exploration. Some scientists say that Earth could hold as many as 100 million different species, so we still have our work cut out for us.
