The public outdoor street steps are not just community efforts for the convenience of the users alone. It indicates the growing worldwide acceptance of street arts. The various steps are so colourfully decorated with the artists’ whims and imaginations, by which that make the neighbourhood a more uplifting place. The first one viz. the fabulous St Francisco’s mosaic steps were created by more than 300 local people under the guidance of a couple of artists.
