Russian Intergalactic Space Hotel




Russia released projects for the space hotel ( they expect the hotel is going to be operational by 2016), which will house seven visitors in four cabins with large windows providing a breathtaking view of globe in its constant rotational motion.
Getting there will be an experience itself, it will take two days on board a Soyuz rocket. A five day stay at space hotel will cost you $ 165, 000, on top of $ 827, 000 for a trip. The space hotel, as reported by the ones behind it, is going to be much more cozy compared to International Space Station. Visitors may additionally end up playing host to surprising guests, there is also a plan for the hotel to become an unexpected emergency bolthole for astronauts on-board the International Space Station if there's an emergency, instead of sending them back to Earth.
Sergei Kostenko, chief executive of Orbital Technologies which will construct the hotel, said:
"Our planned module inside will not remind you of the International Space Station. A hotel should be comfortable inside, and it will be possible to look at the Earth through large portholes."
"The hotel will be aimed at wealthy individuals and people working for private companies who want to do research in space."
